ANU School of Music (events)

Under the baton of multiple award winner Rowan Harvey-Martin, ANU Orchestra will present an exciting concert to celebrate community music making in Canberra at Llewellyn Hall on 23 October. The program includes stunning works for symphony, jazz quintet and choir, from the drama of Shostakovich and Goodall to the intimate quietude of Kats-Chernin, and the funky sound of Banks. The Orchestra will be joined by choristers drawn from Canberra’s vibrant and diverse choral community, including The Llewellyn Choir, which gave the premiere performance in Canberra of Goodall’s Invictus earlier this year.
